One thing I think we need to do is trim the willow tree on the right side real good. You go wide on buoy six and you can lose your boat. I doubt the town would care, as it's a weed tree that was not always there and I'm sure was never planted there.
A new Brick Pond racer could get quite upset crashing his boat not knowing about the willow tree causing a blind spot. This would be the main reason to do it. To make sure new racers continue coming.

I agree with this, and I would be willing to help as well. Have you mentioned it to Pete yet? I would imagine we would have to let the town know at least, however maybe not. Also, what can we do about the buoy's? I have a supply of foam at work to donate to that as well.

I have mentioned it to Pete, and he does trim the tree at times, but it needs a good trimming. Not sure about asking the town. It's only a willow tree.
The buoys are better than before, but still could be improved. Brick Pond should use the 7.5" trap floats like I do and call it a day. You can paint the trap floats what ever color people like. Pete likes green and white. I like orange, but if you are color blind, you can't see it. That's why Pete's are green. We could do green and orange.

I wouldnt think we would have to notify the town, and I highly doubt anyone in that neighborhood is going to turn us in. I think we can wait until spring to do it, but I am more than willing to help. Is Pete going to join this forum? Might be a good way to throw out some ideas for '14.

He should be sending an e-mail out shortly to everyone, and I hope the others join as well.

Hopefully we see a little bit better attendance this year. A buddy of mine from work is hopefully gonna be racing in 20 mono, and I may or may not be working on a deal for a 20 Mod Tunnel.
