if you need a place to crash, my ol lady has a spare room. She lives 5 mins from the pond.

The Motel 6 in Horseheads on Rt17 is where we stay. Rates are around $55-60 per night but vary based on activities in the area. Best deals are obtained online rather than at a cold check in. Generally $10 cheaper from their website.

Thanks for sharing Bill! The goal is to get a list of hotels people like and dislike. I don't stay at them, so I don't know. Matt, thanks for the offer! I'll keep it in mind. Tom G. has offered his RV as well in the past, but I just sleep in my car. Helps pay for the winter projects.  |
